02 What these terms cover

These terms apply to every purchase made through novo-soda.shop by a consumer — a private individual buying for purposes outside their trade or profession. If you are buying for a business, tell us before you order; different terms apply, and several of the consumer protections described below do not.

Our shipping, returns, warranty and privacy pages form part of these terms. Where one of them describes something in more detail than this page does, the more detailed page applies.

To place an order you must be at least 18, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.

Nothing in these terms limits or removes rights you have under mandatory consumer law. Where a term here conflicts with such a right, the law wins and the rest of these terms remain in force.

03 How an order becomes a contract

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email — not when you click pay, and not when your payment is authorised.

Until then we may decline an order. We will only do so for a real reason, and we will tell you which one: the item is out of stock, we cannot deliver to the address given, a price or product description was clearly wrong, or we have grounds to believe the order is fraudulent or is intended for resale. If we decline after you have paid, you get the full amount back.

Orders are limited to four machines and six bottles. The cart enforces this. It is there to keep stock available to people buying for themselves.

Obvious errors — a decimal point in the wrong place, a machine listed at the price of a bottle — do not bind us. If an order is affected we will contact you and you can confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.

04 Prices, currency and VAT

All prices shown include VAT. There are no handling fees, no surcharges at checkout and no customs charges inside the EU and EEA — the price you see is the price you pay.

We quote in SEK to customers in Sweden and in EUR elsewhere in the EU and EEA. The currency shown on the product page is the currency you are charged in; your bank may apply its own conversion if your account is held in another currency, which is between you and them.

Prices can change, but never for an order already placed. The price that applies is the one shown when you ordered.

05 Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. Which methods are offered depends on your country and device, and the checkout shows you exactly what is available to you — typically card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna.

Card details are entered on Stripe's own page and are never sent to us or stored on our servers. If you pay with Klarna, your agreement about when you pay is with Klarna and subject to their terms; your agreement about the goods is still with us.

Payment is taken when the order is placed. We dispatch once it has cleared.

06 Delivery

Tracked delivery is free on every order across the EU and EEA. Most orders arrive within 2–5 business days of dispatch; shipping has the country-by-country table.

Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. If something is going to be late we would rather tell you than let you wonder. If delivery has not happened within 30 days of the contract, you may set a reasonable additional period; if that passes too, you may cancel and have your money back.

Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or to someone you have named to receive them. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, note it with the carrier if you can, and tell us either way.

We deliver to street addresses in the countries listed at checkout. We cannot deliver to PO boxes or forwarding services.

07 Returns and the right of withdrawal

You have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days without giving a reason, under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (lag (2005:59) om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler), which implements Directive 2011/83/EU.

On top of that we voluntarily give you 30 days, and we pay the return shipping. That is a promise, not a legal obligation, and it does not touch the statutory right underneath it.

The full procedure, the condition goods need to be in, how refunds are paid and the model withdrawal form are on the returns page.

08 Faults, complaints and warranty

If something is wrong with what we sent, you have three years to complain under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen 2022:260). Tell us within two months of noticing and the complaint is always considered to have been made in time.

For the first two years, a fault that appears is presumed to have been there at delivery unless we can show otherwise. Where there is a fault we will repair or replace the item; if neither is possible or proportionate, you can have a price reduction or your money back.

Separately, we give a two-year commercial warranty on the machine. It sits alongside your statutory rights rather than replacing them — see warranty for what it covers and what it does not.

Wear from ordinary use, damage from dropping, and damage from using the machine against the instructions in the manual are not faults.

09 Liability and force majeure

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable consequence of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses — lost profit, lost revenue, lost data or lost opportunity — since these are consumer terms.

We never exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for defective products under product liability law, or for anything else the law does not let us exclude.

If we are prevented from performing by something genuinely outside our control — extreme weather, strike action, carrier failure, power or network outage, an act of government — we will tell you and agree a new date with you. If the delay becomes unreasonable, either of us may cancel and you get your money back.

10 Using this site

The text, photography, illustrations, the NOVO name and the NOVO mark on this site belong to ArcticSpritz AB or are used with permission. You are welcome to read, share links and quote us with attribution. You may not copy the site or its content for commercial use, scrape it in bulk, or use our name or mark in a way that suggests we endorse something we do not.

We keep the site running as well as we reasonably can, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of error. We may change or withdraw products, prices and content — never retroactively for an order already placed.

11 Complaints, disputes and governing law

Start with us. Write to hello@novo-soda.shop with your order reference and what has gone wrong, and we will answer. Most things are settled this way in a day or two.

If we cannot agree, you can take the matter to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, arn.se. It is free, it is independent, and we undertake to take part in its proceedings and to follow its recommendations. For general guidance before that, Swedish municipal consumer advisers and Hallå konsument (hallakonsument.se) can help.

If you live in another EU or EEA country, your national consumer body or the European Consumer Centre in your country can help with a cross-border dispute.

These terms are governed by Swedish law. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live, and you may always bring proceedings in the courts of your own country.

Ask before you order. We would rather answer a question than sort out a misunderstanding.
